The Binding of Isaac Repentance, Repentance PLUS +, Rebirth, Afterbirth, Afterbirth+, whatever else there is is meant to be played one way. I did it the opposite way i'm pretty sure. Anyways no polyphemous, C Section, Brimstone, Mom's Knife, Haemolacrea crazy broken build run here. Only Isaac and his mad hops

Finding a way to cheat in a competition with no rules is insane.

I love the tonal whiplash of Matt blazing through with the car vs “he never said I couldn’t use teleports hehehe”

Rome: Custom mod being live-updated, curated specifically to the goals he needs.
Matt: "hehe car and infinite money go brrrrr"
Absolute cinema.

Cheating vs CHEATING (somehow the cheater won agaisnt the CHEATER)

@Potato6480 1 month ago

the fact that rome called out matt for putting in a square he didnt know about and then basically used debug console the entire time is insane

@TheGambler2 1 month ago

winning the 1v2 through mostly base game stuff like challenges and greed was pretty cool

I love how rome is just got custom mode while matt is just better

The single most deserved win in history

"is it really cheating if someone else is doing the cheating for me"

its so funny that Rome was basically doing debug mode minus yet still was losing frequently to Matt actually knowing how to game the game

@linodolphin7948 1 month ago

How do you lose with a modder on standby???

@ChaoticDoodle 1 month ago (edited)

i get that theres no rules, but custom mods feels slightly scummy, it's so lame

@PapaCheese420 1 month ago

Dont think im a rome fan anymore

Rome was the bigger cheater, but Matt was the smarter cheater.

It was also really funny seeing Matt almost throw at the end because he wanted more items while he was already instaclearing waves.

He didnt use Debug Console, he let other people use debug console and spawn Tons of things!

Cinema

When matt said rome had custom mods, i thought it would be something like making a modder preload a bunch of stuff in a mod and not just looking at the bingo board and debugging in all the objectives..

Today I encountered Matt-kun in the middle of the hallway. So I gathered my might and asked him:

"Matt-kun.. c-could you do Isaac but we are blind, deaf, and mute?"
