Quelle voix grave en anglais… beautiful!

This year I was actually criticized by my third grader's teacher for not speaking French at home! I am American, and I only speak to my kids in English. The teacher told me that as a mother she wanted her children to be "bathed in the French language," and that I should do the same since my children live in France. I didn't respond, but I wanted to tell her that I want my children to speak English like a native and not to sound like they learned it in small town in rural France. I love France, and have lived here for 13 years, but I want my children to speak English well.

My city (UK) is twinned with Bordeaux which looks fabulous on you tube. Bet it's a nice place to live.

I can see that you guys are a bit concerned about your kids' accents in English when they grow up. I had a coworker, French mom, English dad, who spent 6th to 10th grade in France and the rest in England. He could switch between French and English without having an accent. The key is to have your kids spending enough time in both countries during their childhood, and also speaking/listening/writing both languages in their daily life. It's super important if you want their accents to be "flawless", otherwise one accent will take over.

A British and an American in France conversation= interesting! Thanks for sharing.

Speaking of expat comedians Eddie Izzard was the first British standupper to perform in french (and in High heels !)  Both of them had to know that I'm pretty sure it was a mentor for them in the idea of making it in France. Mustapha El atrassi almost made it as a french standupper too in US. He won an important contest there and there's a few algerians and maroccans who made it in France like Fellag....

Massimo Rocchi does comedy. He is Italian, but now also Swiss. He’s Italian living in the Bernese Swiss German speaking area. His comedy also talks about Italian and other European stereotypes, makes loving fun of lots of languages. Also lots about German vs. Swiss German.

55 minutes à parler de nourriture, vous êtes vraiment devenus français 😄

How come Perpignan does not have a good reputation ? I am from Perpignan and you're more than welcome ! People dont know Perpignan good enough. Be it' s great, especially the country side.

The voice drop in english always gets me...

pour info SNL est diffusé sur canal+ avec un ou deux jours de décalé

la tartiflette, c'est une recette inventé par les copératives laitieres pour booster les ventes de reblochon. Le vrai plat qui y ressemble c'est la pella !

Le duo de légende

Bravo! Très intéressant ! Ça m'a beaucoup plu. Merci

I just love your content ! Do you think that you could invite Louis-san ? It could be really interesting to see the both of you talk about binationality and living between two different cultures.
Anyway thank you for what you do !

Watching this thinking of other comedians who speak in other languages, etc. I feel like an extremely obvious one would be Eddie Izard, also, do you know the British comedian with the character Marcel Lucont (real name Alexis Dubus)? If would be great if you could get Alexis on this show!

Merci pour les sous-titres.

Hi guys ! I'm fond of what you're doing since years. Just wanted to say that the meat snail you've eaten is called : fleischnaka which literally means flesh-snail. Cheers !

I have cooked a couple turkeys in my life and seen people cook it too. Never have I seen someone turn the turkey even once and they all came out great.

PS: I admire you both for doing comedy in  french
