Incredible conversation, Susan Yara continues to lead on these topics. I always want to hear her POV, these videos are so informative and well-made. These are pretty innovative ways of implementing CO2 and other procedures together. And this Dr. Julie de la Cruz, WOW! I had never seen her, but she carries herself so well, talks in a very eloquent manner, and it really shows she knows her stuff.

I just did my first CO2 session for acne scars, and it was bad; I would definitely go back, though, also for fine lines and wrinkles. I like the fact that these procedures do not change your original facial structure in any way.

After downtime, the CO2 laser leaves the skin glowing with minimal pores and texture, but it returns to normal after a few weeks. I had three CO2 laser sessions with microneedling for acne scars, but I wasn’t satisfied with the results. The dermatologist suggested another session, but I’m not doing it because of the cost and downtime, and I’m not happy with the results for the scars. However, the laser is good for a while for the glow and texture.

Let’s talk cost- you did multiple procedures, it had to be at least $6000 for non-surgical procedures

I had medication, laughing gas, and numbing cream - the pain was about a 5 and sometimes it got very spicy 😅

Why do some people heal slower than others is because not everyone has the same immune system function. Some people heal faster, quicker recovery and some people have slowed repair systems and immune function which is why everyone heals so differently. I always suggest my clients do internal work before CO2 to prevent any melasma or pigmentation. Because those things stem from excess histamine and inflammation.

Ok so need to plan this way ahead of time not just right before vacation . I’m hoping this will help my eye area and neck lines . I’ve only done microneedling but really don’t want fillers/ Botox.😅
