The band ensemble is a spectacular show held during the Cuicuno festivities in honor of the Lord of the Tree. The local bands, or village bands, are the heart and soul of the celebrations, their unique flavor truly unparalleled. Cuicuno, a rural neighborhood in the province of Cotopaxi, Ecuador, has become a town of musicians and orchestras whose talent is in high demand nationwide for participation in parades, inaugurations, and other events.
