I really like your videos when you're spinning with your spinning wheel.

I’m so happy for you and your new wheel.  Majacraft wheels don’t require oiling according to them. Have tons of fun spinning.🎉

🎉CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 on your new spinning wheel‼️ You’re as happy as a kid in a candy shop. 😊 That’s so awesome when we attain something that brings us such joy. It’s obvious that you’re doing a fabulous job of spinning n you’ll get even better as you go along. Thank you sooo very much for bringing us along on your journey n adventure! I love watching the process of yarn being made. 😊

Ooooooohhh… a Majacraft Rose! That’s a spinner’s dream right there. Eek!
And yes, yes, yes definitely on the ease and fun of owning an e-spinner for spinning while traveling. I’ve got both the EEW Nano2 and the EEW 6.1 for spinning on the road. My SO doesn’t know that I’m definitely packing my EEW Nano2 and its battery pack in my hand luggage in a few weeks. We’ve got a flight that lasts over 12 hours and several hours of airport time so my little wheel will come in handy. A good 200 grams of fibre and a handful of bobbins and I’m all set. It’s a good thing the EEW bobbins can be taken apart which makes for easy packing, too. And my smallest niddy noddy can be taken apart too. Even traveling across half the globe means I can still get my spinning fix!

Happy spinning!

Majacraft makes such gorgeous wheels, I'm glad it looks like you found a great deal on one!

I'm a spindle spinner, mostly support spindles, but I have a drop spindle... Somewhere. I got a tip from the Handspinning subreddit to make a plying ball with a ball winder (chainplying as you wind up the single) and then add twist after. I find it definitely easier to colour manage as well. Maybe you could do a fractal spin with the odds and ends you've got?

I've spun laceweight, fingering, and sport weight on my support spindles  and it takes more twist to keep the integrity of the single. Going down a whorl size could help get you even thinner and make treadling easier. (I'm guessing your smallest whorl could even help spin something as short staple as cotton). Personally I've gotten used to spinning so fine that I find it hard to go any thicker than DK - but I've had my eye on an aran weight sweater pattern so I'm getting the heavy drop spindle out. People on reddit say the same as well about finding it hard to spin thicker after getting to spin fine😅

The maroon combed top is sooo pretty though - it looks sort of like a rose in the thumbnail. Hope you get to cast the yarn on soon! Knitting with handspun is super special.

Congrats on the spinning wheel. Lowkey I’d love to see you card wool with scrap yarn to spin a unique type of yarn.

Do you know Andiematronic,Cool video btw
