Best movie ever.

Unquestionably one of the greatest movies to come out of Italy, or anywhere.  A brilliant capo lavoro!

Maybe my favourite film of all.  Love the way the same main theme is transformed throughout, sounding sweet one moment, then changing form to a sombre variation, than a nostalgic one, then a tragic one, etc.

I saw this movie when I was about 15 and it left a strong impression on me.  I have been looking for that movie ever since.  Today I just found it.  I'm 50

This is one of my all time favorite movies.
I also love The Seduction of Mimi and Swept Away, all Lina's movies.  They don't make them like that anymore.

This is such an unbelievable film. My grandmother introduced it. So many beautiful nuances, facial expressions that just say it all.
