The first times are not so easy, but you gradually find a great, profound peace. The greatest joy was the solemn profession. It was like heaven, full of grace, and you feel sustained throughout time. And the feeling that God unites heart and life.
Faith, for me, is living in that trust that someone is holding you, even when you don't feel that way, knowing that hand is there. It's a very deep and personal relationship with God, and like any relationship, you have moments when you are splendid and others when the horizon completely darkens. But it's not that faith dies; rather, it's part of that relationship of love and how it grows and learns more and more.
One scene in the Gospel is the scenes of Jesus' compassion, especially that of the adulterous woman. It's something that identifies me in my vocation, having the capacity for that kind and compassionate heart. Another scene is that of the Good Shepherd, how he holds that little sheep in his arms.
👉👉👉 WHAT IS THE GOSPEL LIVED? 👈👈👈 The Gospel, the Good News that Jesus came to give us, is meant to be lived; it is meant to change our entire lives. The Gospel lived through aims to be a concrete example that we can live the faith, that we can put into practice what we hear, meditate on, and read—with weaknesses, but it is possible. This simple project, with simple people, like you and me, aims to contribute to the immense work being done by the entire Church throughout the world, so that more people may fall in love with the most adorable Person in existence, Jesus. We can be saints, we must be saints; we don't have to perform miracles; we can be "saints next door," as Pope Francis said; we can be saints in our ordinary lives. We hope that this series of interviews, centered on ordinary life, will be a mirror in which you can reflect yourself and strive every day, with God's grace, to live holiness. #conversion #saints #saintsofthesidedoor #holiness #Forgiveness
