I’m 22 years old. I didn’t see him play much, but I heard many things about him from my parents and watched many of his old masterclass highlights. I couldn’t control my tears, even though it has been 13 years since his retirement. The legend of world cricket.
When he retired, I was 29. I cried watching his last speech. After 13 years, today I watched the same speech again—and the same feeling returned, with tears in my eyes and the same emotion. Players will come and go, but Sachin is only one. The way people are connected to him is a bond that no other cricketer may ever have. — Respect to the legend, Sachin Tendulkar.
This is the greatest farewell in the history of the game. The master being carried by his teammates in his iconic floppy hat carrying the national flag simply can't be beaten.
Seeing Virat and Rohit carrying Sachin Tendulkar on their shoulders just makes my eyes so teary. They really carried forward the legacy, but retiring so early without any proper farewell is just a shameful act by the BCCI.
I don't know why, but I found myself tearing up from the moment he started speaking until the very end. I'm not Indian, and I haven't even followed his career closely, yet his words touched me deeply.
He is living proof that greatness isn't defined by where you come from, but by your dedication, discipline, and perseverance. His journey is an inspiration to anyone chasing a dream, facing obstacles, or striving to achieve something meaningful in life.
Legends don't just inspire their own nation—they inspire the world. What an incredible human being and role model.
None of us couldnt even fathom back then in november 2013 when sachin tendulkar played his last test match that ms dhoni himself would go on to retire from test cricket exactly 12 months later in november 2014.
Mujhe yaad hai mujhe tution Jana tha 2 baje ka time tha tab tution Jana chhorh ke me dekhti rhi or roti rhi😊😊Aaj v dekhi Aaj v wohi same feel hota hai Sir ap sach me cricket ke bhagwan ho
Sometimes, when my friends cheer about match wins nowadays, I used to think that leaving watching cricket was a foolish decision. Then I watches this speech of him and realises that my decision was right. As an 80's born, i still feel watching cricket without Sachin is not worth it. He was such a legend in the field..... Big salute for giving us those days....
I was 7 years old when Sachin retired. If anyone has asked me who's my favourite cricketer I've always said Sachin Tendulkar. Today I heard this speech and really got into tears.
