Why does that  not make touch screens illegal now built in to many cars ?🧐

Then all advertising road signs are illegal as they  are a distraction

Every 4wd raised with tyres out guards, never seen 1 pulled over !

I am a Queenslander, it is not just these rules but the multitude of others that are a pain. I had to go to court to fight a $2000 for not wearing my seatbelt properly (I had a fractured thumb in a cast and it kept pulling on it so had tucked it under my arm and through under my armpit). I had to show cause with doctor’s reports, orthopaedic inflammation etc. Driving over 40km an hour in school zones is another police like to target. They will sit in front of the sign that allows you to change to 60km per hour and pull over anyone who accelerates to 60 before the sign.
However the stupidest fine ever given to a driver in my family was the night my husband was ticketed for drunk driving. The car was stationary and he was not sitting iṉ the driver’s seat. He had simply lent into the car to get his power pack and cord so he could charge his phone so someone could come and pick him up. Make it make sense.

The dumbest thing I have seen on a car is Tinted Headlight and Rear light Covers, how stupid is it possible to be?

Here in Toowoomba Qld about one in seven drivers have modified their plates to escape cameras, (quite ingenious some of them)....and QLD cops don`t care. At the moment they get enough from the existing. As far as illegal window tint, just about everyone in the state. Queensland cops are pretty good compared to Victoria and NSW. In my opinion, they are mostly focused on crims , not drivers.

Brilliant program very interesting but I have to admit it’s so money revenue. What would I think of next? I know a few things on the car you’re not supposed to do. Thank you so much for the update. I have learned a lot of things.😊

If I am to fix a radar then I need a radar detector to check if the radar is working.... Guess the radars will have to come to me to get fixed... No more house calls....

#5 Old mate under the hoist complaining to the mechanic that he doesn't give a fuck about the car, it's his inability to be able to fold towels that's really pissing him off.

Not knowing the law is a defence? Never! I'm 77 and my father (b 1904), told me before I even started driving that, ignorance of the law is never an excuse.

Nothing here I didn't already know! However, most cars are lucky to be 1300 kg, not 2 tonne, with the exeption of 4x4's

i checked with a engineer  he said if its a bolt on conversion it does not nee certifing
only if  welding or machining is needed then that changes the rules
i have a number of changes on my car none need certifing even the later engine as its below 10% on the original type engine

1:37 awesome i am going to QLD and play Dean Martin loud in my car😂

Obviously, when it is the photograph that counts, you dont have to be holding a phone.  Anything that looks like a phone will have the same effect.  And how could you prove it wasnt a phone?

If the EPA tests are done at idle why do the Police rev the car when they do their test most of those rules are pretty common sense

Left hand drive in Aus AI slop!

Driving at high speeds on the wrong side of the road is worst way to drive and is the most dangerous as crash head on is nearly always fatal with a 0.1% chance of survival

Engine mods that can lift the front wheels off the ground...all legal.

Changing brakes from drums to disc, or reinforced seat....all illegal.

2:20 I'd be curious about the animal one. I wont say whom as I don't want to incriminate myself :D , but "someones" cat escaped their cat carrier on the way back from the vet. The cat hates car rides and gets a little loud. When stopped at traffic lights, the driver saw the cat walking towards the drivers seat (from the back seat). He grabbed the cat, comforted the cat and pressed the cat against his chest with 1 arm, making the cat now secure from moving and only a light projectile he could hold. He was driving slowly  as he was in traffic and the cat was now comfortable and not squirming anymore as he felt safe. Seeing as the cat wasn't disturbing the drivers ability to operate the vehicle safely , was he in the wrong nursing it with 1 arm for the drive home ? It was not in NSW.
3:40 I totally agree with banning holding the phone. I still see people texting and driving even though it is $1000 now in Queensland. (I think it is more now). I've been crashed into a few times by distracted drivers. I've had distracted drivers nearly steer into me many times.
3:56 Not a smoker or vaper, but yeah. DOn't do that near me or kids. (especially kids)

Light bar rules are common sense. I know mine is seriously bright. I see that by the way it lights up signs and the way any pedestrian that steps out suddenly turns their head away and holds up their hand when I'm still 100 metres away.

What if you have headphones because you can have a phone🤷‍♂️ they are your hands free
