I just want what they have dammit

Chief loves, his people, his home and that’s why he fights. It doesn’t have to be a lovers relationship. But it is a relationship none the less. If there’s anything this game has tought me. It’s that you need to fight for what you love. Be the inspiration for those around you. Because it never matters if you come first if your team comes in last. If you wanna get there fast go alone. If you want to get far, go together. Truly a master piece. 10/10

Halo was a love story. OG players know.

the halo 2 "dont make a promise you cant keep" into the halo 3 "you know me, when I make a promise" is so perfect

The way he says "wait..." KILLS ME EVERY DAMN TIME

Beside me now all the best

This is how i want to remember halo, not this slop they released

The background music is a PERFECT touch, the somberness of it wraps Chief up perfectly. A person that no matter his internal battles will do what it takes to save his race. By any means. Willing to give his life at any moment to do what’s best for humanity. Chief is a beacon of Hope, and I am thankful to have grown up with Halo!

He loved her

I miss Halo. Why did it have to be ruined by 343

Congratulations

Remember the fallen. Remember Reach!

Love Halo, Transformers 4 Age of Extinction and this music. 💚💙💚💙🩵💙🩵🩵🩵💚💚💚🩵🩵💙💙💛💛💛💛

She reminds me of my love... She's gone to the next place, wherever that may be. Our time together was so short. I'll always love her

I'm still alive. The fight isn't done.

When my fiance asked if I trusted her, I showed her this and said "this is how much I trust you"

“When I make a promise…”

“They might even pair you with another Cortana model if Halsey lets them.”

“That’s not going to happen.”

…oops.

In response to some of the comments about the Chiefs and Cortanas relationship.  Everyone has an opinion but I remember reading something in one of the books.  The book was “The Flood”.  @ around or just after 2.40 on the video, the book says after Cortana tells Chief of her plan to destroy the Halo Ring.
‘Is that all?” The Spartan inquired dryly.  “Sounds like a walk in the park.  By the way, it’s nice to have you back.”
“It’s nice to be back,” Cortana said, and he knew she meant it.  Although there were any number of “natural” bio-sentiments that she thought of as friends, the bond the AI shared with the Spartan was unique.  So long as they shared the same armour they would share the same fate.  If he died then she died.  Relationships don’t get anymore interdependent than that, something that struck Cortana as both wonderful and Frightening.

Now this is in the control room after Chief finds out 343 Guilty Spark has deceived him.  Chief was only given Cortana and told to protect her at all costs by Keyes only a couple days prior just before the Pillar of Autumn crashed onto the Halo after fleeing Reach.

Damn. Brought a tear to my eye.

Too bad halo 5 took a steaming dump on the last scene in halo 4

the part showing his commanding officer to give over cortana, just to be told no sir in the most harrowing line. never seperate these 2 because thats a force you dont wanna reckon with
