The evening of resurrection Sunday found the disciples gathered in fear behind locked doors. Suddenly, Jesus appeared in their midst, offering them a profound greeting of peace. This unexpected visitation and his initial words set the stage for a transformative encounter. In this pivotal moment, Jesus not only reassured his followers but also breathed on them, imparting the Holy Spirit and commissioning them for a unique mission. It happened when they recognized his voice.
