The cheapies are your most interesting vids...........

@McKluskie 11 days ago

these are my favourite videos where you take something that probably nobody else would bother with and make a good car out of it

@NGMonocrom 11 days ago

You saved another one, Matt. And.... Without massively overspending.

"I tend to avoid these older cars because they can be a bit problematic" Well on that basis you'd best avoid the newer stuff as well! 😂

The Toyota ZZ family of engines of this era are masterpieces of late 90s engineering. Lightweight, efficient and highly reliable.

There's one of these locally that's been used by a delivery driver for at least 5 years, it's got an aftermarket exhaust and £2 Amazon LED headlight bulbs that destroy your retina as you come the other way. It's being driven hard every time I see it, must be a bulletproof vehicle!

I wish there were more small MPVs. Headroom and ease of getting in and out, without unnecessary BS of a SUV.

The HighPeak trifecta:
Head lights need a buff.
New set of reg plates.
Wonder Grip van.

I love the fact fellas like you are saving older cars

That must be one of the most sellable cars you have ever featured. Cheap and what people on a budget with a family want.

You need a branch in Bolton mate , they love Toyotas and family wagons 🤣

I converted my car to 7 seats. I had no complaints apart from moaning from the three passengers on the roof 😊

Jimmy is the man.

Kid football transport, pizza delivery, student, dog. Exactly the sort of car that I would have, key and starts. "Feo" it maybe, but as I explained to my son, the most important feature of a car is that it starts.

Looks a good honest car sir. Well done. Here in the Philippines anything at that price would be only fit for the scrapper. I'm so envious ! 😅

I have just had a knee replacement and I am laid up in bed watching your video. These and other videos have certainly helped me get through the day. Thank you for making these videos and for teaching all of us how to undertake theses tasks

We had one of these for about 8 years when the children were young - took it from 50k to 150k miles. 2.0 diesel, non dpf model - great cars. In the whole time we had it , other than routine servicing the only thing we had an issue with was one new starter motor just after we bought it. So much better than all the equivalents at the time.
