I am starting with Blackletter, for this Calligraphy Series, because I think Blackletter is more manageable than Italic Calligraphy and the principles of calligraphy can be learned quickly with this style of lettering.

Hey I just started bout a couple months ago, but am getting pretty good according to the ppl who seen my lettering lol. Cuz I myself feel like I have lots and lots to improve, I think most of us just critique ourselves to hard.
Anyways, I know and practice all of this already sense I am obsessed with calligraphy. I read books, articles, pintrest and 100s of hours on YouTube on learning about this that I literally fall asleep on my books or papers, and start right up the moment I wake up, I even practice lettering while going number 2 “which is gross” but I can’t stop 🤣🤣
Is anyone this obsessive with calligraphy as I am???

Hi! I just got a GCQuill calligraphy pen set. I've been wanting to learn how to do lettring in this style for years. I'm so excited! It's a big transition from using a pen for sure. I'm legally blind, so this really does help! Thank you! Will or do you have the other gothic lettering styles in your videos?
