DROP SOME IDEASSSS

0:05 URANIUM AND THORIUM JUST IN "Meybe not a good idea" while surrounded by "Please reconsider" XD

The "can I lick it" thing is now permanently saved on my device.

Science fact: Like 30% (estimate. I didn't go and count each one) of the information in this video is incorrect— which is fine because it's a meme video, meant purely for entertainment purposes, not educational— but it is important to remember that you should not trust every information you see or hear. Especially from strangers without sources.

Fun fact: quicksand isn't actually that dangerous. It's a mix of sand and water; you float in it, better than in regular water. The main danger is getting stuck and dying from dehydration or starvation before you can free yourself.

Venus flytraps don't eat bugs for energy, they get that from photosynthesis. They eat bugs for the nitrogen because their soil naturally lacks bonded nitrogen. Bug exoskeletons are chitin, which is rich in nitrogen.

7:54 there would be no light so you couldn't see anything

8:52 For those who don't understand, Chemist 2 was meant to say "I'll have H2O too, which sounds like H2O2 or Hydrogen Peroxide, which is toxic.

6:58 - Actually, it's probably way worse that uranium. According to Kyle Hill and Tom Clausen (former nuclear engineer), it was likely cobalt-60, whose warning label is literally "drop and run".
8:31 - Note that a lack of pants doesn't mean a lack of leg-wear; pants are way more complicated than skirts which are/were basically just a piece of cloth wrapped around the waist.

frogs then: i am big and strong and a predator
frogs now: i can't eat the double pixel-ed organism

8:55 chemist 1 wants chemist 2 to say " i want H2O too" sounding like "H2O2" and H2O2 is dangerous to drink

Getting head trauma and becoming a genius is called acquired savant syndrome. However, savant skills are rare, come exclusively with developmental disorders or brain trauma, and people are more likely to only appreciate you for the skill you have and not the person you are.

Literally everything after Uranium: "you die in 1 minute"

I am looking at that thumbnail just going "OH NO BRO" like Muscle Man because you don't water to break like that

13:56 adapted* that’s why it’s a science meme

9:02 the thing about this that interested me is that it implies we create our own problems. and since the saying is to make lemonade with those lemons, if you made a problem, you can fix that problem.

0:55 LOL, joke's on them, because mushrooms aren't a plant - they're a fungus. And they're actually more closely related to animals than to plants.

7:19 the reason they get so excited is because discovering new elements isn’t as easy as smashing two atoms together go boom and make new atom. We have to do stupid shit to make it, and the last element discovered was approximately 2001. I’m currently working on the next one. I call it the element of surprise. Its chemical symbol is Ah!

0:48 You do know that bacteria have evolved for so long they can eat any form of energy, including radiation and rocks. And also, alcohol destroy their cell walls.
