Ronnie Barkers house in this, was my family home at the time of filming. Great crew and cast. Corbett was shy, but Barker, always the centre of attention. Enjoyed watching the production, especially when the Storm Trooper's used my bedroom to change in. Expect the plot would cause apoplexy if it was ever re-broadcast.

Jesus they were only 10 years out of date!!!

Ronnie Barker was a master of the English language, a true genius. Probably the most under rated writer ever

Thank you so much for editing and putting all these episodes together as one feature length film.

I didn’t expect it to be a documentary

They were ahead of their time & this storyline is becoming a reality

Always enjoyed the worm that turned. So glad some one put all the episodes into one film👍👍👍

This wasn't so much a comedy as an accurate prediction!

Welcome to the 2020s and the dystopian world predicted by this comedy was so prescient and predictable.

TV Today is plain rotten and forgetful, I want to return to life 40 years earlier when everything had better standards in entertainment compared to the commercial trash of today, 80s ETERNAL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is starting to come horribly true...

I loved this when I was little.

I never thought this would actually happen.

True Art is prophetic,

They must have had a Crystal ball

After seeing Ronnies in dresses, I’d never let them put trousers on again. 😂This was great. Loved seeing Diana Dors. ❤️

I must admit those marching girls had a big impact on my young self..

This is the first time I have seen films from the United Kingdom that address issues we used to discuss in my youth, back in my native region of the Horn of Africa. Long ago, East African women realized that men held the central roles, so it was decided that the women would eventually take on the tasks the men performed; indeed, men were capable of doing any job—except giving birth, a role reserved exclusively for women in Somali society. Furthermore, although I have watched films in many languages—especially American ones—these British movies are different: they offer a magnificent experience and are free of loud or annoying music.

Absolutely nuts how the two Ronnie's unknowingly predicted the future

How true this is today 2026...  😢
