Since the day I bought it, loved my 2017 AMG GLC 43. Over the 9 years or so, she has been amazing. Love the way she goes, stops and corners. Big enough to be our family car. Fun enough to be 'my toy'.
If driven sensibly, can easily get over 30 mpg along B roads. (If I try, can get nearly 35 mpg!)
Using timing gear, recorded 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. She's completely stock!
In Sports +, love the sounds she makes.
Love the security she gives. Feels like driving a tank and being invincible.
She comfortable enough. Smooth enough. Overall, quite reasonable costs to run (fingers crossed!)
Mine has done 57,000 miles.
As I came up to her 5th birthday, tried to find another car that would tick as many boxes as she does and not drown myself in debt. Tried hard but other than a newer model... I couldn't find anything within budget.

Looking at buying a 22 so this was very helpful, it’s higher mileage around 75k miles, but in great condition, the place I’m buying offers extended full coverage maintenance on the drive train so I think it makes it worth it.

Hitting 60k on my 2019 GLC43 Premium Plus now. It looks almost identical to yours on the colours (stuff on mine were already black. Only issue i had so far was a front csmera replacement that costed me 50 quid to buy on alibaba. Oh how I love this car. I even manage to do about 30-32 mpg when cruising on the road. Fuel economy drops drastically in city though. 15-18ish. Drove it twice from london to the alps. Is is just a pleasant car really. I will probably drive this thing to 200k miles

It may just be me, and my son, but we find the steering wheel to be just a tad offset to the left. I guess you would get used to it but once you know, I think it would be difficult. That was the only item that stopped me from buying one. No issues with the X3 or Macan in that department. Audis are all hopeless with their unbelievable pedal offset to the right.

I purchased a 2018 GLC 43 early in 2025 and love it, but can confirm the ‘crabbing’ is extremely annoying. However, I recently purchased 4 ‘new Winter boots’ ahead of a post Xmas trip across the channel. The ‘crabbing’ is noticeably less annoying! I’m also looking to carry out various bits of personalisation and thing the AMG fuel cap is a cool thing. Considering de-chroming next!

bought my 43 new in 2017. Had horrible problems with gearbox for 2 years, very brutal and I think damaged the transmission at a larger scale. Then humming on highway, it was the transmisison 'bar'. Then vibration at high speeds for 5 years .. Finally I went to germany at AMG dealer anf 2 tyres were out of specs (Pirelli P Zero non MO) AND the bonnet was not put tight. Now 107.000km, just replaced the central screen with roadtop android 12" touch screen. I love it, except the rolling noise on highway coming from the back/bottom (I have acoustic glass option of course). But the engine is so smooth ... but drinks 12l/100 of 98 and never in the city or short trips.

Bought a 2017 glc 43 with 50,000km…after 2 years and 11 months I’ve put 170,000km on the car love it! Only good things to say about the car and the platform and I got lucky and found a fully designo spec interior and exterior

I purchased a 2017 GLC 43 AMG 3 months ago with 44k on the clock. I just love it and so far no issues, not aware of tyre crabbing either.  After watching the video I’m away to order one of those AMG petrol caps!

2019 in USA same color at 62k miles. No modifications no problems. Replaced battery at 3 years and now due again at 4 years on 2nd. Original brakes were grabby at low speed for my liking so I changed to ceramic pads early on in ownership. Very rare crabbing, maybe I never turn full lock, 20” tires. I moved up maint schedule did spark plugs trans and differential flushes early. It had a engine stumble at very low speed like when in or out of parking space, and it was just a bottle of Techron heavy duty carbon cleaner in gas tank that fixed that, I was not using Tier 1 gas but try to now. Spark plugs came out with red deposit  spots I understand are from  fuel additives that boost octane I won’t see if tier 1 gas is improving this for time until next plug change. There was talk about oil through pcv system fouling flaps inside intake manifold so I am changing out pcv unit proactively soon. Very pleased with car only issue that I’m sensitive to is harsh on bumpy or rough roads so I’ve changed to Pirelli non runflat that are known to softer otherwise I really like a second set Bridgestone Turanza too for performance I’m using tires with the noise canceling foam inside too. Getting too long need end now but watch tire wear and check alignment if issues I had inside shoulder wear on front and maybe 1st alignment try or two front sets of original Goodyear tires were suspect.

Love my 2022 glc43 suv. Tip: put on 20" tires. Better ride, much cheaper, no crabbing

hi, i owned a glc 350d amg prem plus for 7 months as it got to a stage where i ended up not liking the car, i got rid of it with 37500 miles on the clock, it was selenite grey and looked fantastic, the interior looked like a space ship after owning audi a6 avant for 7 years and 1 day and 190000 on the clock, the glc was my retirement present. i couldnt believe that with the low miles on it that the drivers seat started delaminating, i took it back to mercedes newcastle for a warranty claim and they said it wasnt a safety issue but admitted mercedes hq new about the problem and they wouldnt do anything about it, thats the straw that broke the camels back, so sad as the car drove fantastically apart from the issue you have as in crabbing, the irony is im now looking for another 350 but with the nappa leather option.

We have 2019 Glc-250-4-matic Amg line premium 5dr 9 g-tronic and we all love this car and looking to keep this car as long as we can :) Thanks for wonderful video!

Have had a 2018 GLC 63s (Premium Plus) from new and overall it's been a joy and extremely reliable. However, it did suffer from the bad crabbing issues you mentioned. It was so bad that my wife refused to drive the car.... To address the crabbing issue, my local Mercedes dealer (Guildford) recommended changing the tyres from 'Michelin PS4' to 'Vredestein Ultra Vorti +'. I did this and have found it to be a big improvement. The crabbing is almost completely eliminated, even in cold weather. It might be worth investigating that change when you need some new tyres.

I have a C43 AMG 2017 and have the same crabbing issue in cold weather around 3 degress and below. I suggest changing tyres to micheline pilot 4 its helps with the crabbing issue a lot.

The crabbing issue has put me off merc as a daily driver I be going back to BMW when I change next
