I've spent a lot of money on this car. Some parts add performance and some don't, so I went through the build part by part and kept two running totals: what I actually spent, and what I'd spend if I wanted the performance but spent as little as possible of the total amount.
The gap between those two numbers is the point of this video.
This is a mod car built to race and practice hard (it has literally been driven tens of thousands of laps). If you're just starting out, most of what's in here you don't need yet — and I say so as I go.

Steel chassis — I’ve been considering this and very interested if this will be a 2027 option in the kit. Some guys have been running in the UK that I know. Not necessarily a big setup improvement but more an option to get the weight low and adjust your setup with the car in this config. How did you find it on carpet?
I am driving the stock car with not a single upgrade and i am one of thr fastest in my area. Stop spending money on easy upgrades. Invest the time in setup like different oils, roll center, inserts etc.
