I was in Jeff Fort's unit. Lived right next to him. This was 1983 at FCI Bastrop. Back then we called him Angel. And yes he was on the phone about 4 or 5 hours a day everyday, but he was also a very intelligent guy. I can't believe he would say things on those phones. Back then all the phones were collect call only in the unit, and collect calls in 1983 were expensive. There were signs on the phones that warned you that they were monitored. One day they transferred him in middle of the night. Everybody was saying it had something to do with the calls. I didn't know about this story until many years later.

This episode sure took a left turn. I thought it was going to be about the ghettos of Chicago and drugs. Had no idea it was going to turn into buying rockets and terrorism with Libya.

Saturdays are always good to watch these episodes of The FBI Files and The New Detectives! Thank God for these shows when there is nothing good to watch on TV on Saturdays. Thanks to YouTube for these uploads, they are great shows and the acting in the re-enactments are great 👍 Good actors who might not be famous but they are as great as the famous ones or even better. Love the shows, just love them. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍👍
