I’m Dutch and I did a cycle tour with some friends from school when we graduated in the early eighties and we went to Zeebrugge in Belgium and took the ferry to England. We with our stupid uninformed minds about the cycle conditions and infrastructure (or rather the lack of) in England, we cycled in England on dangerous roads, no cycle path or cycle lane anywhere. We only stayed three days and two nights, it was too dangerous, and went back to Belgium, where the cycle infrastructure wasn’t very decent either. So we entered The Netherlands again and toured there for two weeks. Im glad to see the cycling infrastructure is somewhat better than in the eighties, but the UK has a long way to go.

17:14 - "these bridges" - excuse you, that was the Oosterschelde storm surge barrier, one of the seven modern engineering wonders of the world. 😉

It's also where the national headwind cycling championships are held. 😄

The coastal route through the dunes north from The Hague is so lovely

Go on boys smashed it 🎉🎉🎉

That was a fun watch- nicely edited, too to keep the pace exciting. Do this stuff when you're young and before your knees give out!

Was fun seeing three mates having a good ride to the Netherlands.

I'd love to do this one day! love the video 👊🏼

This is a great watch. 3 good mates going on a journey living life as it should be lived and making every day an adventure, looking forward to viewing  more of your content.

Well done, guys 👍🏻💪🏻

15:27 'The Bike Instructor's guide to cycling in Amsterdam´ was right by boiling a patato when you´re very hungry...! 😂🤗

Ditched the helmets in A'dam like a proper Dutch cyclist. 😊

Rule one in the book of sod:

Never assume toilet paper in the public toilet on a campsite.

Great to watch im doing biek packing from London to Amsterdam on Gravel bike alone for charity run too!

Nice trip!!
Since you enjoyed the Netherlands so much, maybe next, take a boat to Rotterdam or Ijmuiden, and do a cycle tour in the Netherlands, much more to see then Amsterdam.
