On September 12, 1993, a girl entered the Church of the Holy Trinity in Potenza and disappeared into thin air. Her name was Elisa Claps, a 16-year-old woman who was supposed to meet Danilo Restivo.
Only seventeen years later was her body found in the attic of the same church, where it had remained for all that time. The justice system determined that Restivo was responsible for her murder, but one question continues to haunt the case: how is it possible that no one noticed for seventeen years? In July 2026, the Potenza Prosecutor's Office reopened the investigation to determine who covered up for Restivo.

In this episode of Sulla Scena del Crimine, we reconstruct the entire story with Margherita Carlini, psychotherapist and forensic criminologist: from Elisa's last meeting with Restivo to the seventeen years of silence, up to the latest developments in the investigation.
