The Patriots in ‘07 had everything they needed to win the Super Bowl, but the ran into a Giants team that had nothing to lose and everything to gain

The ‘23 Lions loss in the NFC title game to SF after being up 17 points was far worse. I think about it every single day…

I'll never forget sitting in the stands during Saints 2018 No Call. Legit never heard the stadium so angry and volatile. Think that was the deepest painful loss we've ever had in Franchise. So close to the Super Bowl only to be snuffed out by a blown call.

I've never seen that McMahon injury before. That's basically assault and battery!

1986 Bears absolutely belong here, and we’ll probably never see another team that good with quarterback play that bad.

Just got to glaze NFL Throwback again. For the algorithm

Pretty rough how for 12 of these franchises, these are straight up the best seasons they've ever had (at least in the Super Bowl era), and yet obviously they had no Lombardi to show for it. (As a Bengals fan, it certainly rots.)

January 17, 1999. A day I will never, ever forget as a Vikings fan. Without a doubt the most fun team I've ever watched. I truly thought I would never watch football again as a 13 year old after that heartbreaking loss. I have to say when watching 28-3 I felt a pinch of magic and retribution when TB12 woke up. :)

That hit on McMahon was BRUTAL! Probably cost the Bears back to back chips

The 2014 Seahawks had a chance to repeat their Super Bowl magic, but they collapsed.

The Patriots just don’t like the Rams, especially in the Super Bowl

For Browns, 1986 is fair. One of the few times in the Super Bowl era that that franchise was one of the league’s best

Now do every teams worse season that did win a super bowl

Dolphins I would agree with 1984.

It’s unfortunate that Marino and the Killer B’s didn’t overlap more

Poor Randy was the best/2nd best player on the two best team to not win a Super Bowl - the 1998 Vikes and 2007 Patriots.

NFL Throwback still carries the torch that Ed Sabol lit in 1962. His and Steve's efforts with NFL Films are the reason I picked up a bug for a sport from the other side of the planet, and I'm sure there are kids out there these days learning the love, and the history of the sport from these videos.

2005 Refs, Super Bowl XL champions. Great season for them. Really took it to Seattle in that game. How perfectly they threw those flags on 2 of Seattle's clean touchdown plays that would've given the Seahawks the momentum to win their first Super Bowl? Wow, amazing stuff. Still don't get why the Refs gave their first ever Lombardi to Pittsburgh, though. They probably felt sorry for Cowher & Bettis to not have a proper send-off, so they thought it'd be a nice gesture. Very generous of them. Hats off to Bill Leavy. A true legend.

Pretty crazy that all four NFC North teams have a 15 win regular season but the Bears were the only team to win it all

This might be my favorite narrator of all narrators. Dude is just so chill and his voice so calming. Watched most videos he's narrated, and loved everyone. W narrator chat

2018 was our year man. I'm actually surprised they're acknowledging it here. You know the NFL always tries to sweep this game under the rug
