Rest in peace to Brad Venable, the voice of Griffon, who passed away earlier this year.

"Rest in peace little chicken. It's been a bash."

the V we once known goes from "we have no chance to defeat malphas, she's too strong, we'll have nero to fight her instead" to 8:29 "maybe i'll just do a live stage performance on top of her back"

He's just standing there... menacingly

I love that V has special finishing animations for bosses he's not even supposed to fight.

Especially that Vergil one, that was poignant as hell.

Vergil thought that rending his weakness and consuming the fruit would grant him unmatched power. But, in the end he would be consumed by his nightmares...

So it is written...

V in cutscenes: "I'm weak"
V in this video: WILLIAM BLAKE INTENSIFIES

Boss: Hardtrying
V: Reading,playing imaginary violin,cosplaying Mace Windu

I gotta say, even after nearly 2 years, that Goliath vs Nightmare fight is without a doubt one of the most satisfying things I've ever seen.

28:05

V: Stay were you belong, in my memories.

Vergil: I will... Never be a memory.

An alternate reality where V is the true version of Vergil. Such a weird concept.

Normal V gameplay: I'll just hang back far and let my demons do the work.
SmvR V gameplay: I'VE GOT TO GET IN THERE!
Great video.

18:58 Even in gameplay this chicken is trolling V

Dante: AHAHAHA Vergil, you stole your son's arm to gain more power and even after merging with your human self and back to your full strength and you lose to your human half who only had the half of your power and still LOSE? I.... I really do appreciate this whole shitshow

Vergil: This is..... unmotivating

9:18 this is SOMETHING

I love the fight between V and Urizen in this.
They're literally two sides of the same coin, V is everything that Urizen believes is weak yet V still defeats him. TBH even is V were to lose after Urizen got out of his chair V still wins mentally, He a human was able to force The wannabe Demon king to fight seriously.

There's something poetic about Vergil getting beat up by the nightmares

Vergil: Who are you?
V: I'm you but aided by demonic service animals

1:44
V:*snaps* I'm bout to end this man's whole career.

That taunt when you right before you finished Malphas was perfect
