We went to Martin County, Kentucky, on Appalachia’s remote border with West Virginia to look into its water problem. Instead, we ended up deep in a holler, miles from any store, hospital, or business. There, we asked locals about jobs, drugs, and life in the holler.

Forced to drink cancer water while Mitch McConnell has been collecting millions of dollars as your senator for over 40 years ! He was unable to form a sentence over the last few years and he still had a death grip on that seat because of your support .. We are truly backwards..

As someone from Appalachia, I really appreciate when people try to show the real and darker sides of our area. A lot of people are really struggling and have been for some time now, but still people are very kind and open. Thanks for doing this.
