It's been 15 years since Rebelde Brasil premiered on Record, and this is the complete story of how the telenovela was a huge phenomenon in its first season and collapsed in its second.
In this video I talk about the characters, the peak of the telenovela, the vampires and the "mini rebels" that nobody asked for, the national success of the band Rebeldes (RBR), the comparison with the Mexican version, and the romances that went from fiction to real life (Lua Blanco and Arthur Aguiar, Sophia Abrahão and Micael Borges).
If you were a fan of Rebelde Brasil, of Roberta, Diego, Alice, Pedro, Carla, and Tomás, or enjoyed the band Rebeldes, this video is for you. Leave a comment with any bizarre things you remember and subscribe for more soap opera and pop culture analyses every week.
Here on the channel we also have an English course with pop culture, link in the comments/bio.
