This helped me through my divorce in 2017, through my Mom’s passing in 2020 and through rehab in 2023. Now in 2025 I’m listening again, but in the best place I’ve ever been in life. I love Emo Kev.

If Moser didn’t end up in the film industry with Kevin, he would’ve been a great therapist, he’s very perceptive with his insight to how he was listening to Emo Kev in the recordings.

Mosier laughing his ass off is the greatest thing ever hahah

dude Kevin was so fucking cringy angsty.....
i love him even more for this. 1:38:00 24 karat case of love 😂

I came back here during quarantine cos I knew it was the only thing pure enough to cure my depression.

8 years later, still a Hall of Fame Podcast episode for the generation or any generation that is at the point we’re at now.
2022

I'm walking around in PA listening to 2 guys in California 4 years ago listening to a guy riding around New Jersey talking to himself 26 years ago. What a strange time to be alive

The SModcast swansong. Pretty much the pinnacle of the show, or any show of our generation (any generation that's at the point we are now).

Every human alive should listen to this. It's important for everyone's development. It's peak SMod, it's peak comedy. And the rack system.. c'mon. 24k case of love.

I still argue this is the greatest 4 hours of any comedy podcast ever of all time.

Scott sounds like a chill, level dude.

The fact Kev will spend hours mocking his young self for our entertainment, is just Kevin Smith in a nutshell.

She says it like this, “Amy’s coming home.”

I have a 24-carat case of love for emo kev.

God I miss  hearing these two talk all the time.  The smodcasts have helped me through my work day and life so often, and hold a special place in my heart.  Thanks for sharing this.

"Did I mention the rack system?" is the moment I always come to when I need to laugh. Never fails.

There’s something to be said about this being funnier to me every few years. The farther I get from Emo Kev the more I understand the Kev laughing at him 😂

this is therapy for my weary soul.  thank you kevin and scott for being you

my favorite moment is Kev and Mosier saying at the same time, "in other words, the current generation." It always gets me.
