Napoleon being exiled to New Jersey. 😂

You should do, what if the US annexed Siberia during the Russian civil war.

In this scenario the US and the whites reach an agreement to be annexed into the US to be protected from the Bolsheviks.

One thing is definitely missing here: Napoleon would definitely not enjoy being a farmer in NJ. For some reason I see him as being the most revered lecturer  in West Point. That would be more fitting to his nature!!

Next "What If":

"What if the Second French Republic survived But Lost the Franco-Prussian War?" A French-Weimar Republic scenario

What if Napoleon decided not to become emperor of France, but rather, the first, constitutional president of the French Republic? Rather than waging war in Europe, he'll support the wars of independence in Latin America, by turning Saint Domingue (Haiti) into the launchpad for revolution; even granting full autonomy and abolish slavery in that part of the Caribbean. He could have provoked tensions with the Spanish Bourbonic king, Fernand VII; while at the same time he'll support Simon Bolivar's activities in Grand Colombia and with the Mexican revolutionaries.
For that to happen, Napoleon must give up any ambitions of personal glory and swore fidelity to the ideals of the French Revolution.  Liberty-Equality-Fraternity.

What if Chinese Prime Minister Wang Jing Way continued his policy of appeasement to Pre-WW2 Japan? In other words what happens if the 'Shian Incident'(Where Chang Kai Shek was kidnapped by Communists and forced to take a harder stance on Japan) ended differently?

Also, why not merge this scenario with the 'won at the waterloo' scenario? Basically 'what if Napoleon won at Waterloo, but had to escape to America anyway'?

What if France attacked England directly to support the American Revolution?

What if the Bourbon restoration wasn't overthrown? Vive le Masion de Bourbon!

This pivot scenario was very interesting, especially that part about how Napoleon becoming an exile and de facto tourist attraction in New Jersey altered later European history. You once again dodged the fantasy trap.

I do wonder what would have happened if Napoleon never rose to power. What if his great invasion of Egypt failed?

In a book titled History's Greatest Mistakes, British Admiral Nelson arrived in Egypt a few days ahead of the French invasion fleet, but fretting that he had chosen wrong, he left and kept searching for the French. With better information, Nelson could have stayed put. Napoleon could have been killed or forced to flee back to France as a failure instead of a hero. Could this mean no Napoleonic Wars?

A variation upon that theme : Napoleon is allowed to go to New Orleans but under strong American Guard.  He together with his brother help organize the first US secret police service.  He welcomes and congratulates Laffite but explains to him he his a land army commander and has lost too many sea battles to be of any usefulness.  He welcomes Bolivar in the same way : he explains on which kind on lands he knows how to campaign and explains he is not an expert with Spanish people in montainous regions : he speaks how he lost the situation in Castille and why he is not a good prospect for the mountains of New Castille, though he is ready to bring constitutional expertise and police expertise.  Napoleon despite his promethean character knows his own limits as well as his fortes.  This maintains his prestige in France and even in England, Russia and Austria as somebody who is not a tyrant but a reference in the domain of diplomacy.  He respects the democratic republican character of the US polity and renounces to any political role in the hemisphere though he wants to be useful to his new land of refuge.  He makes his opinion known that Jackson is dangerous and is in position to become a tyrant or nearly so.  He prefers working at the organization of what will become the FBI and ensures it will remain a republican institution as venerable and popular in its own right as the US army.  He also succeeds in convincing the Americans to devise their own system of laws distinct from the Common Law and more like his own Code of Law though a very different one.  He also succeeds in convincing the Americans to adopt the metric system while retaining sub-units bearing the same names as in the English system : an American foot it exactly 30 cm, an American ounce (both liquid and weight) is exactly 30 cm3 and 30 g, an American mile is exactly a nautical mile (54 for 100 km) and so on.  But as he falls sick and nearly dies one first time, he feels the weight of serious sin : he extreme mistreatment of slaves of Haiti under his administration.  He wants to be judged by a tribunal composed of Haitians in New Orleans.

Napoleon looked like he had stomach problems while he was standing beside his brother.

As user-rd1od6tb2m said Napoleon would likely become a guest lecturer at the United States Military Academy at West Point and if Ney had been also as lucky in escaping the wrath of the Bourbons Ney would likely had become an instructor.

Napoleon in the United States would be a fascinating and complex scenario. Thank you for considering this angle.

And there would have alot fewer crazy people that thought they were Napoleon.

Napoleon actually had one marshal in America, his name was Grouchy, he gets a lot of hate for failing to join Napoleon at Waterloo when it was Napoleon and Soults fault for bungling his orders

What if Alexander the Great Discovered America First?
What if The Mexican Empire joined Abraham Lincoln?
What if Napoleon 3rd joined Abraham Lincoln?

Welcome to America, Napoleon!🇺🇸❤️🇫🇷

Vive L’Napoléon!

What if qing china managed to modernize?

Thanks for talking my request

I heard someone make a theory that Napoleon’s brother Joseph eventually made it to America in New Jersey.
