I remember watching this game. Aired Monday night 12/23/1974.

i vividly remember Chris Schenkel on the PBA Professional Bowling Tour on ABC. That show aired on Saturday afternoons in winter-spring. The PBA Professional Bowling Tour aired from 2-3:30 PM and it was followed by Wide World of Sports. Sweet memories.

Skip Holtz finds 14 cents.  Fabulous!

What prophecy by the Astrodome scoreboard

“OJ Simpson - Juice on the loose” Over 20 years before he runs loose on a California highway in the Bronco

Great stuff, Carl, including the compliment. Thanks for uploading. Love the old games. If you have any more, please upload them.

I always loved the SWC teams’ jerseys back then. Baylor, Houston, SMU all had the school name and number on front and a number sitting way up high on their shoulders

The commercials are awesome too!

To the guy with the question of megaphone, I sure did. Big NCSU fan here. Great post. Thanks so much.

The Exact Same Two Schools squared off in Albuquerque Nine Years later For The 1983 NCAA Basketball Championship which The Wolfpack won On A Miraculous Last Second Dunk!😂😉🎤🐶🐺🐅🏈🏀📺B.W.

Thanks for posting.....this was my Senior year at NC State.

Great game!  I used to live for bowl games as a kid and this one and the Gator Bowl were always my favorites every year.  I didn't remember the A-B Bowl on ABC, just on the TVS network

Nothing wrong with a tie game… highly entertaining ..

Love this era of college football. Even the linemen were buff. No fat blobs in sight. I'll take this over today's game 10 times over.

What was the deal with ABC having current coaches in the broadcast booth in '74? You eventually run out of coaches. There's only so many bye weeks.

BACK WHEN DUMBA$$E$ THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS SO GREAT COMPARED WITH TODAY 🤣THEN COME TO THE YOUTUBE COMMENT SECTION AND NEVER SHUT UP ABOUT IT!!!🤣

Run, run, run, punt. Throw an actual pass every once in a blue moon.  My goodness college football was so boring back then.

how did you get your hands on this if you were at the game? did someone record it for you? thanks for the post which there were more games like this out there.👍👍👍
