Expatriate and domestic passengers have expressed their anger over the quality of passenger service at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, including the luggage and trolley shortage. They have complained about the inconvenience of getting off the airport after a long flight, excessive crowding on the way out, and various mismanagement.

Expatriate students Sohana Rahman from Malaysia and Ashiq and Tanoy from China also shared their experiences. Passengers complained that the airport's infrastructure, as well as the service mentality and management, need to be improved.

On the other hand, Aviation Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat has commented that the allegations of harassment of expatriates at the airport have not been found to be true. He also alleged that the opposition is deliberately conspiring to make the government uncomfortable.
