7:18 To get all the keys, you need 16 keys. You are given 16 keys. This means every key you get must be spent. You can solve it the way you did from there.

I LOVE LOCKPICKING!!!! I LOVE STEALING AND PILFERING AND PILAGING AND THIEVING AND “BORROWING”!!!!!

The spending every key logic does make sense in that Instance because you have 2 non blue keys for every blue key and there is no way to get a blue key without spending 2 keys

I hope you enjoy the game! I will note that this game's OST was hand picked from a variety of sources (credited in the Game Info + Credits readme file), so there will likely be parts of the game which trigger a copyright notice. That aside, best of luck on your future lockpicking endeavors!

16:15 The joke behind 2-8 is that it feels wrong to use 24 pink keys on a 24 pink door and master key a 2 pink door rather than the other way around, but it's the only way to solve the puzzle.

22:40 A comment on multiple blanks in a row - it looks like it's just the level designer having a joke, but it's actually so you can't pass using master keys.

What an interesting take on a 'i wanna be the guy' type game

10:44 I love how they mentioned specifically that they can also be called gold keys to stop the pedants from saying "It's not a gold key, it's a master key!"

the factorial joke at 19:00 lol

Kid named pick:

Me before watching the video, and just reading the title: Lockpicking IS a puzzle.
Me after watching the video: Fun looking game none-the-less.

I feel color blind after watching this video.....

Oh god. This is vaguely reminiscent of Tyler running through Patrick’s Parabox and trying to explain his actions.

I was confused for half the video due to being color blind

I hate that I see the thumbnail and immediately think of Limbo

I didn't realize this was an I wanna be the guy themed game until 2 years later, damn that's funny.

As to that blue key puzzle, you can use the "must spend every key" because you start with 16 keys and use two per blue key.

thank you editors for highlighting what Tyler was talking about; while I probably would have been able to follow it regardless that just let me visualize his thought process a lot easier!

I find the idea of a door that requires you to not have keys to be funny. Like, oop, my door only unlocks if I chuck my keys across the lawn.

I hope you enjoy this game and make it a full series! I don't wanna tell any spoilers but there are a lot of great mechanics and gimmicks in this game! You're gonna laugh at some of the mechanics introduced too in the later worlds!
