People thought the show was dark and violent but the comic is SO MUCH MORE. Especially the end of the prison arc

i can’t believe how underrated twd original comic is, first 100 issues are probably one of the best comic stories you can ever read, kirkman deserves more recognition not only for twd but also for invencible

hearing glenn like carol in the comics makes me chuckle a bit considering the age gap in the show

carl was the man from that first walker, they hint at his decisiveness and wisdom so early when hershel threatens rick- carl was literally fresh off the table ready for smoke

I will still never forgive the show for nerfing, and downplaying Carls role in the overall story. Carl ending Ben is still one of my favorite moments in the comics, because all of the adults are having a moral argument as to what should be done with this little child who’s a psychopathic murderer, and one night Carl just sneaks up on him while he’s alone sleeping, and Ben asks him “Are you scared of me?” And Carl just coldly responds, “No.” and ends him, like it was as simple as collecting firewood, no hesitation, no regrets. (In the moment at least)

Watching the show first then seeing this. Was a jaw dropper to know carol died at the prison, and daryl isnt even a real character.

I like the comics better because Carl’s alive in them.

One thing I realized about the comics that when people get bitten they wait for them to turn to put them down almost in every case

The comics are so much better than the show, also Andrea and Carl were way better in the comics than they were in the show

Fun Fact: Glenn and Hershel are the only two characters whose voices we get to hear during their appearance in first season of The Walking Dead Game.

Damn, didn't expect the comic version actually have more deep beautiful story rather that the tv series version

Rick in the comics didn’t take Negans bs like he did in the show. Comic Rick is so much better.

Beautiful story from beginning to end. Stories like this will always make me appreciative of what we have now. Robert Kirkman is one amazing storyteller.
