A superb alpine loop to Mont Buet (3096 m), nicknamed the Ladies' Mont Blanc.
Starting from Les Fardelay, the ascent takes you via Les Fonds and Le Grenier de Villy, before reaching the summit with its spectacular views of the Mont Blanc massif, the Aiguilles Rouges, and the Fiz range.
The descent follows the magnificent North Ridge of Mont Buet and passes the Grenairon refuge, before returning to the starting point.

Les Fardelay → Les Fonds → Grenier de Villy → Mont Buet → North Ridge → Grenairon Refuge → Les Fardelay

Distance: ~25 km
Elevation gain: ~2200 m
Elevation loss: ~2200 m
Difficulty: Difficult / long day and dangerous terrain
Duration: 12 hours depending on pace
🎥 A wild and varied loop, between alpine pastures, scree slopes, ridges, and breathtaking panoramas.
