Life has felt… a bit much lately. In this video, I wanted to share a more honest look at what things have been like behind the scenes, not just in the studio, but in life as well. There’s been a lot going on recently, and I’ve noticed how that’s been affecting the way I create, work, and show up here. Instead of pushing through, I’m learning to slow things down, adjust, and find a more sustainable way forward. This isn’t a polished or perfect creative process… it’s just real life, and continuing to show up within it.

Been a very sad week for me. I had to say goodbye to my 16 year old dog Charlie who has been my best friend and constant companion since I rescued him as a one year old told pup. So grateful for your videos.

I just lost my mom and my dog son Chester- my only family and my best friends. I can't move from my couch and barely go to the grocery. I am not pushing myself.... I am here I am right now :)

I lost my mum last month, I was her carer, she always said she wanted me to turn her room into my craft room, it's hard though, when your whole life changes in an instant, and having fibromyalgia doesn't help, grief, stress, guilt all mixed together with pain makes life hard just know, but listening to channel and the Wendy waffles makes me smile 💕 makes me smile 💕

I started painting BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 I have been a colourist for years....intimidated by painting....but then I said....just try it.....that is what Wendy would say. I didn't even have watercolour paper....just a good quality colouring book.....I did have paints that have been sitting there for years.....I have done 5 paintings now AND I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. ......THANK......YOU!!!!

Sometimes, when I get a mental or physical disruption, it helps me to just get into my car and shop a bit, browsing for nothing really, but my thoughts get released during this time, as I'm moving about and I can sometimes ponder solutions, or just spend time healing my inner calm. I have had to move three times this year, but I finally feel comfortable enough to work on projects and think of their completion.

It was lovely to see Jeffy so tranquil and calm in the studio. I remember when he first came to stay how stressed he was, he’s obviously settling well into his new life with the two of you. He’s good for you as well you’ve got both James and Jeffy as wingmen ❤❤❤

Not sure if youve explored this, but anxiety disorders (as opposed to random worrying) are chronic and create that ‘dread’ feeling unfounded in worry.

Your Art will help. I have it and reset my nervous system by having a singing session every morning.

Anxiety is exhausting!

I’ve been following you for years. I’ve wondered who the woman in your paintings are. They don’t seem to be you. You dress and gesture like a carefree girl or little bird. These seem like confident, serene women. Filled out, content. You talk a lot about healing. You don’t have to divulge personal events, and probably shouldn’t. You often slow down, journal or retreat as ways to comfort yourself. I hope after all these years you find peace and some techniques that really give you contentment. 🙏💕

Today I can relate to everything you say Wendy. Life is a lot at the moment and my physical pain is increasing by the day. I am really exhausted and feel so overwhelmed by everything. Watching you and listening to you showing up even when you feel raw and vulnerable helps in so many ways.
