First time reaction to Kanye West, Momma & Only One. This the best song ever written about a mother?

The Momma video may be blocked, but my comments are still here which is the whole point anyway...

Well I have to admit when I'm wrong, and I was 100% wrong. This is a truly great song about a son's love for his mother. Absolutely beautiful!

I wouldn't call you ignorant for having that impression of Kanye, its honestly what most people assume based off things they hear and see in headlines. Just glad that you had the open mind to enjoy his art and to look past any biases! I think you would enjoy Roses and Ghost Town as well from him.

Paul Mccartney is playing the piano on this song. He hung out in the studio with Kanye just talking about music. Those sessions created this song All Day, and fourfiveseconds. Paul said it was the easiest writing credits he ever got.

It makes me cry almost every time, still miss having a mother. I will always give Kanye West music a chance after that song.

"Roses" by kanye has the same soul as "hey mama"... Check it out 😁

Only One is such a beautiful and pure song. Really hits another chord after having my first child

That’s not even the finished version of the song but I felt that one was even more emotional. Great vid

Stumbled across your reaction i'm glad i did, kanye may be a lot of things but never forget he's also a musical genius.

Paul Was playing the organ, and I think mostly he’s on the production and melodies.

Kanye West is the greatest artist of all time, give the music a chance

The Only One audio without the music video sounds better and has an extra verse that’s not in the music video. You can check that out if you haven’t.

kanye has an abrasive side so brace yourself but the lyrics usually have double meanings that come across shocking and others are just for laughs, but he also has emotional side that balances the other side out

I was surprised too :-) wow and interesting. I love it when my mind is blown and opened up

His catalog is now better than the Beatles, best of all time. I can no longer deny it. Yes I'm a massive fan but I love ALL MUSIC. Nobody has a better FULL discography than YE.

Good on ya mate.
