Steve had best Voice ever for soul blues and rock.

5:22 what a beautiful moment 😀

Weller adored Marriott and the influence is there throughout Wellers career so it was fitting Paul should be there for this.

The Small Faces were very much a part of the great English band's of the 1960s.
The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, The Yardbirds, Traffic, Procul Harum, Moody Blues, Small Faces, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd

How have I never seen this before ?

Weller and Gallagher are certainly well intended but Marriott had charisma and talent on a whole other level.

My first record was shalalalalee I wanted to were hipster trousers and get my haircut like the small faces when your 15 and somebody comes along that touch’s your soul musically it’s a magic moment that lives with you till now I am 72 and can still see and feel the atmosphere they created thank you Steve and the rest of the small faces for brilliant memories

Steve deserved this long overdue tribute and glad to Paul Weller as the lead!

They were one band that i grew up with but were elusive to me; did not get played much in NY.

Nothings better than the Original - LOVE and RIP Steve❤

I saw humble pie 2 times in the early 1970s and Steve solo  , in a small club with humble pie’s drummer and the bass player for savoy brown. Saw Led Zeppelin in 1975 . Steve was 100 times a better singer than plant . And one of the best musicians ever .. he took on the mafia to get his money back. And it killed him ..

Who are the great British Bands , Singers, of today.??. The music industry in England in the 1960s 1970s 1980s are gone.. Their contribution to MUSIC is never to be  repeated.

Steve Marriott , what can I say , he was great.. one of my all time favorite entertainers of all time Period.. I listen to the small faces all the time and the Pie .. saw him is Reseda , CAlifonia in the country club  once in 84?  probably the best show I have ever seen... ever

Seeing him live. Never ever, ever forget that night. He played till the power was cut off to the stage. Had to run away from all the women after us.  L.A. 1973. Shipping overseas in 3 days.

A glorious tribute to a true great by 2 true greats. PW & NG.

I saw Steve Marriott with Humble Pie at Brunel University. He blew the place away, one of my favourite people!!

Steve Marriott was one of the great British artists in my opinion and doesn’t get the credit he deserved. I was lucky enough to see him with the packet of three and the official receivers In the late 80’s! Tiny little bloke with a huge guitar and massive voice it really was a revelation for me!! Great memories 😊!!

Saw Steve at The Cricketers In The Oval a long gone pub. He played and me and my mates were dumbstruck.  His band was sublime and he was utterly superb. All this only AFTER the house gave him the money up front.   Poor Steve having been ripped off by so many but he could deliver any where anytime.  One of the best I have ever seen.  And I have seen Zappa, Mile Davis, Nina Simone, Dizzy Gillespie, AC/DC, Nirvana, Cardiacs ,John Ethridge, Material etc etc Steve was was the best.   RIP.

Arguably the best rock vocalist ever.R.I.P. Steve.👏👏👏

Great stuff!!
