Matt Armstrong has shared an unexpected update with his audience, revealing that this Sunday could be the first time in a while that there isn't a new main video ready to go.
Matt is currently editing two different videos that were intended to be potential Sunday uploads. The problem is that neither project appears to have enough usable footage to make the type of full-length episode the team originally wanted.
One of the videos comes from the yacht project.
The yacht has already become a completely different challenge for Matt after years of documenting supercar rebuilds. But the latest yacht filming session didn't go exactly according to plan, meaning the footage may not be enough to turn the experience into a complete episode.
Then there's the recent trip to Bugatti's headquarters in Molsheim.
That visit could have provided some fascinating behind-the-scenes content, but much of what happened inside Bugatti was not something Matt was permitted to film. Because of the confidential nature of the visit, there are parts of the experience that viewers simply won't be able to see.
Matt can still show the footage he was allowed to capture and explain some of what happened, but he admits that it may not be enough for a full Sunday video.
That leaves Matt with a decision: release a shorter episode or potentially leave Sunday without a new upload.
And this doesn't mean the big projects are slowing down.
🚗 ALEX GONZALEZ'S BUGATTI CHIRON
Matt is heading back to Miami very soon to continue work on Alex Gonzalez's Bugatti Chiron.
The Chiron rebuild remains one of the biggest ongoing projects connected to Matt's channel, and the upcoming Miami trip could bring another major chapter in the restoration.
After everything that has already happened with the damaged Bugatti, viewers are waiting to see what the next stage of the rebuild will reveal.
🛥️ THE YACHT PROJECT
Matt's yacht is also continuing to generate plenty of conversation.
The project has introduced a completely different type of restoration challenge, involving marine systems, maintenance, repairs and the realities of keeping a large yacht running.
