Fabulous tutorial..one of the best.
Thankyou from Ireland.
Tom is, without question, one of the best piano teachers I've ever come across on YouTube. His teaching style is exceptional—clear, engaging, and incredibly easy to follow. What really sets him apart is his ability to explain complex musical concepts using simple, practical "aha!" moments that instantly make everything click.
Instead of just showing you what to play, he explains why it works, giving you tools you can immediately apply to countless songs. His breakdown of Elton John's piano style is outstanding, making sophisticated chord voicings and techniques feel accessible, even for intermediate players.
If you're serious about understanding the piano—not just memorizing notes—Tom's lessons are pure gold. Every video leaves you feeling like you've made real progress. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to become a better musician. Bravo, Tom! 🎹👏
