As a clarification: prebuilt rides that come with the game (like the ones I used in Electric Fields) are completely fine. This includes both rides from RCT1 and RCT2.

Imagine having to tell every customer that, no, their free ticket for 0Looping Roller Coaster 1 is for one of the other 0Looping Roller Coaster 1s.

How nice of Marcel to keep placing rollercoasters in the wrong spot to give other runners a chance to compete with his time.

I've been speedrunning this game for 20 years now and I've almost completed my first run...

Marcel Dos is a brilliant alt account name.

Also the ambient noises and laughter turn into nightmare fuel when they're sped up to ludicrous amounts lol.

this game took me 15 years to complete so ty for this im definitely not mad

Theme park: struggles financially
Marcel Vos: steps in, builds a couple of Launched Freefalls
Theme park: KACHICHICHICHICHICHICHICHICHICHICHICHING 🤑🤑🤑

Doctor: "you only have 56 minutes left to live"
Marcel: "moet je even kijkeuh joh" (watch this)

I cannot imagine the dystopia that must be built into RCT speed runs.

"Welcome to Entertainment Factory which was not here 60 seconds ago. Here are 38 identical rides for your choosing, for you are programmed to want to ride them thanks to these three numbers. Join 4,500 other people who are all taking turns moving around the park to ride different versions of the same ride, and who all use the same two toilets. We will rake in tens of thousands of dollars thanks to your good Yelp review, and 2 minutes later we will just disappear again"

I love your aggressive mouse scrolling.

“babe my parents aren’t home”
“i’m working”
“marcel dropped an hour long vid”
🏃💨

CHALLENGE: Extreme Heights but you cannot alter the land in any way, Flaming Fury stays, no prebuilds, and NO duplicate coaster designs.

Speedran to the comment section

5:44 ok.  When he nails getting the path back to where he started with half of it completely off screen, I fucking sat up.

I love how you just destroyed the airfield immediately. That runway causes so many issues in casual.

The sound of the thousands of children laughing sped up sounds like an army of angry seagulls

There's just something oddly impressive, chaotic and amusing watching someone speedrun a game where usually the things you do in it take a lot of time to figure out. Amazing.

I was thinking how RCT is unspeedrunnable because it involves having to wait a fixed time for scenarios, though I guess this is an advantage to OpenRCT2

Also thinking about how guests will willingly show up to a park that literally just has like 20 copies of the exact same coaster that's just a half corkscrew

Hey Marcel! This is AMAZING. Would you mind explaining why it is that you pause the game to renew your advertisements? Wouldn't it be faster to let guests into the park in that time?

I got arthritis in my wrist just watching this. Love the videos dude!
