We love our MN-82. Basically bone stock and still rambles through all our RC trails we build. PS: we use the same HF bags 😅😅😅

This means that just by changing the tires and adding weights, it is capable of crawling.

lol beer opener :D

Love the videos man, think I'm gonna start putting out some of my own, thanks for the inspiration.

Hi , really nice video. I have one mn82s , I am upgrading

I have 2 mn82s.  First thing I did was get 5mm to 7mm axle hex to get some good wheels on it.  I have done a more including brushless but next is get the screws that hold wheels on in a allen bolt instead of Phillips.  Right now still phillips but filled them all with hot glue.  lol

Hey mate, Aussie Bob here just to say congrats on another great video 👌
Got one of these for my young bloke for Xmas, and am fighting the urge to go down the full mod path with it!😅

Got him a full light kit as a starting point for him and will see how far we fall down the rabbit hole after that!

The BIGGEST thing I think puts your channel WAY above the rest, is that you show good budget mods that any average Joe can achieve themselves at home. 🙌

EVERY other channel jumps straight into EVERY single aftermarket expensive Alloy/Metal upgrade parts, as well as all the electronics and accessories under the sun to bolt onto them.🙄

You are tackling the main faults in different models and then simply coming up with great sensible ideas to improve their performance with as little as possible. 👏

All the best from Australia 🦘🇦🇺👍🍻

Some of these 'cheap' cars are fantastic. My most expensive one is a hypergo 14303 Citroën, its blisteringly fast and tough as old boots, 45mph out of the box! These mn models are great, i have this and the 99s, slowly upgrading both, to the point where the only original parts will be the shell eventually. I found that the 99s wheels are much better, a lot softer and beadlock, so you d9nt have to piss about with the hubs. It also helps to take the plastic bits off the leafs, and move the coils from this /\ to this | | to lift it a touch, i wrapped the fronts with sand paper and wasted a couple of batteries doing figure 8s while it sanded the inside of the front arches so the tyres dont catch. The wpls are great too, i dropped a 12t 550 motor in my d12, its dangerously fast!

that WPL paint job though!  Man that's nice.

I'm not gonna mod this truck as I don't think I need to bc won't the springs and tires just get use to stuff yk

Aliexpress has 12mm wheel adapters for like $3, so almost any tire / wheel combo will fit.  And they're brass, so they add weight where you need it most.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the trailer arm rear suspension kit over 4-link.  It's also on aliexpress for about $4 I think.

Nice video

I have two of them and currently I am upgrading the second one

Awesome video,,, taking not so hobby grade RC trucks and turning them into hobby grade crawlers. This is what everyone wants to see. We know what Traxxas and axial and other high end brands can do, absolutely no fun ,I’d rather see someone turn a lower grade rc truck into hobby grade that is affordable to everyone, thank you for an awesome video 👍😎

What did you do to the front wheels to not make it rub? Because I just got these exact size wheels and when it turn it on either side it rubs

Is that Dave Seville talking😂, great 4wd review I’m buying one!!

Hey man would adding plastic spacers and raising the body up like 6 7 mm help with rubbing?

What do you think of the upgrade after some time? Is it worth it? I'm thinking about ordering this setup for my MN82 Pro.

I've been really looking into Rc's recently ( this would be my first rc) and I came across that same truck so I already got a whole list of parts going full metal frame servo and motor pretty much building a whole new truck lol but all I wish other companies made nice quality bodies so there were more options

hi it's me again!! Which discharge rate batteries do You recommend on mn82? On Aliexpress they sell Only 3C (plug and play).
Will a 10C/15C make any difference? And i'm planning to go brushless! Is 3C enough?? Thanks!
