On the other side of the world. Literally. New Zealand is the antipodes of Spain. Fairytale landscapes, an enviable quality of life, and lush nature. These are the attractions of a small country located in the Pacific, east of Australia, and situated right in the Ring of Fire, meaning it also experiences significant seismic activity.

On this trip, we focus on discovering the North Island. There we find Auckland, the country's largest city, where Fatima guides us, telling us about the high quality of life enjoyed there, with excellent safety, low unemployment, and plenty of opportunities.

We try the Sky Screamer, visit the Auckland Museum, which houses representations of ancient Māori settlements, the country's first inhabitants. We also visit Piha Beach and Mission Bay, two iconic beaches.

New Zealand's North Island is home to natural wonders such as Waitakere Regional Park, Devonport, the Bay of Plenty, Onentangi, and Hell's Gate.

POV: While filming the report, we ran into a celebrity, AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd, whose boat is docked in the port.

More curiosities. Our Madrid friends take us to Hobbiton, the theme park created from the set built here for the filming of 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' trilogies.

To learn about Maori culture, there's nothing better than visiting Whakarewarewa, or rather, Tewhakarewarewatangaoteopetauaawahiao. A tongue twister? Not at all. This is a tourist town whose name is the longest word in any language (at least that we know of).
