This is it.
We've made it to Draft 2 of The Hobbit Arena Open, and now $2,000 is on the line.
And this time, we're playing Best-of-One.
One draft. One deck. No sideboarding. Every pick matters, every game matters, and a deep enough run means walking away with $2,000.
We've spent countless drafts learning The Hobbit format. We've battled through the Arena Open to get here.
Now we have to finish it.
We'll navigate Draft 2 pick by pick, build the best deck we possibly can, and play every game with real money on the line.
$2,000. One draft.
Let's see if we can get there.

…Because if they play ice cold smart, since they know about the bear, the correct play for them would be to chump and go to 4 since they would have lethal on their turn, and very few things kills them out of combat on 4 life.
Which leads me to Option2: Hold the 6/6 or 3/3 back on defence, still keeping option 1 open with the double lifelink plan, but also having x2 blockers up.
Medium risk, medium reward. Opponent can still remove a blocker, and have lethal with bent blade, howl, gollum etc.
I think your line works, you’re pretty much guaranteed to get the lifelink after they 2 for 1 you with the removal.
I just think this was a very interesting turn with lots of options, but ultimately your line takes opponent decision out of the equation and is safest option to not lose on opponents turn. Would love to hear what your reasoning was. :)
Gotta say will not be remembering this set that fondly, although it has helped me level up my aggro game.
