One of the most fascination videos ive seen in a while. Interesting character and I never knew walnut farming was a thing in the UK. Looking forward to part 2.

For me this is probably the best video that you have made as I have a 80 year old walnut tree in my garden . It generally supplies just in my garden 100 to 150 kgs every year that's without what falls in my neighbours garden . The girth of the trunk is 2 mtr

Great video and thank you to Roger for letting us get an insight into his life.

What an amazing man is Roger

This is what was good about Britain
As a young man he had a vision and made it work

Entrepreneurial at a young age g age

I’m going to look at his website
I ❤walnuts in cakes etc

Carry on
Thanks Richard for such an interesting chat

I worked at mulberry for 22 years .. made redundant twice in the time .. was a leather cutter for most of that time .. grew up on a farm them spent all that time cutting up animal skin .. mmmmm Not what I thought I’d be doing .. Great video Rich 😊

👀🙄🐕👍 Very Interesting video Richard

Like Walnuts (we too have a few Walnut Trees) but adore Pickled Walnuts. Bennett Opie who are the largest producer are in Sittingbourne Kent. Just up from me. Pop in if you ever visit them.
We need more Farmers like Roger to keep banging the drum about the importance of Farming in Britain - trouble is Farmers keep shouting but politicians are the definition of Stone Deaf.

i dont usually subscribe to things but i did with your site always interesting content and again a good subject well done

Hi my friend nice one tanks

Very interesting video Richard, we did set up a small plantation, or is it a Walnut Grove? on the farm I used to work on, they did harvest them green for pickling for a few years, but the farm has been sold on and is contract farmed now so nothing is done with the trees. Shame really now they are mature..

Brilliant interview Richard,  i'm pleased you left this video long as Roger has an incredible insight.

Those picker uppers are fantastic!  I finally got one this year, came in handy for cleaning up June drop apples too. Now, it's walnut time 🎉

That video was nuts Richard..crack on 😂

Very interesting it was like Farming Diary in the good old days 😁

Love his shirt - another youtuber.

Good video, Richard.

Very interesting chap

Interesting video Richard, cheers 👍

Thank you for this video. It was very interesting. We have a small holding on the Isle of Wight and have just planted some walnut trees so this was great for us.
