Finally an operator reminding people hey it's illegal to interrupt me. The only one breaking the law here is you officer. I get so mad when the drone auditors don't bring it up when being harassed continually by cops or grounds security...

Why don't coppers apply a bit of common sense and find out from their superiors or legal department, what or if an offence has been or is being committed, BEFORE throwing false accusations, quoting false laws and accusing law abiding members of the public!!!!!!! This ego driven, spoilt child of a copper knew NOTHING of the crap he was spouting but was quite willing to accuse and ruin someone's character and create a police record of something that is LEGAL. What is the point of creating a law that forbids ANYONE from distracting a pilot while flying a drone if the coppers refuse to obey the law they are supposed to follow?? Coppers these days are too easily upset when people don't jump and obey their commands like a dog, they are totally offended even when the command is not lawful.

Over the years as surveillance of the public has continued to intensify, the public has objected and we are continually given the same answer, "If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear." My question is this: What are the police hiding that makes them so fearful when a camera is aimed at THEM!

You have to remember, it's their playpen.
They don't like cameras because they are scared stiff, that you will catch them doing nothing, as usual, or something illegal. They don't seem too busy, when they can spend ages spouting sh*t, they know nothing about. Perhaps it could be, that they are leaving their work shift early, and don't want to be seen stealing from the public purse.
PS. But surely they wouldn't do that?

They obviously don't read, or take any notice of official notifications, in writing, that If someone declares they are an auditor, they are to be left alone. They have several of these kinds of notice, since around 2021, about people filming outside police stations and they have ignored them all.
Why, when there are so many standing/sitting around, don't they use that time to learn more about the law. I'd be a shit Lawyer if I didn't keep up with legislation.
Then again, THEY can always 'make it up' as they go along, lies and all. I HAVE TO FOLLOW THE LAW.

Just checked online, and simply walking up to a drone operator to talk or ask questions while they fly is not inherently illegal, provided you do not touch them, block their vision, or act in a reckless manner.
