Ahhh, the infamous "Sonderkraftfahrzeug 2 / Kleines Kettenkraftrad Typ HK 101". Exzellent!

Great job, I could only watch this with envy, I have almost finished building this and it has given me nothing but agro. A complete drama, unusual for Tamiya, first one that almost got shelved. If the Handlebars don't go on it's going in a diarama where a Tiger reverses over it. But the figures are out of this world, a pure joy, got my money's worth with them alone

0:15 Realeased “Earlier this year” is meaningless. Otherwise, the build and video is brilliant. Bloody brilliant!

Excellent work on the kit and figures. As a noob to painting the 1/35 figures, the close-up detail work is very helpful. Thanks for sharing!

I love that they included the bending jig for the PE bits. I hate when kits supply PE and its got a curve and such and its like well i guess I'll just hope it doesn't come out garbage

Before coming here I watched videos on the Zoukei Mura and Das Werk Kettenkrads. This Tamiya kit appears to knock the spots off the other two. (Especially the Das Werk - where panel fit was dire.)
Anyway, back to the plot... Lovely job sir, enjoyed your build, thanks for sharing it with us, oh and nice mud.

Wow the figure molds are really cool!! 😮 Such a genius solution I can believe no one else thought of this before.

Sorry James I'm at work (as usual) but will watch it over the weekend.
Hope you are both well.
Best wishes, Mark

I built this as a young lad. If I remember correctly the engine was metal. No photo etch. Most likely wrong but I loved this one.

Very nice James! I've been extremely busy with the Hood model and this is the first chance I've had to watch anything. The figures we're especially well done. Cheers!
