The forest asks for nothing.
It simply lets you keep walking.

A lone knight moves through the deep green,
his steps steady, unhurried—
with no reason to stop, and nowhere he needs to be.

In his right hand,
he carries a small piece of cloth.

It shifts softly in the breeze,
worn and quiet—
like a fragment of time that can never be returned to.

Who it once belonged to…
or what it still means to him—
there’s no way to know.

But one thing is certain.
He chose not to leave it behind.

In this place,
you don’t have to forget everything.
You don’t have to let go of everything, either.

You can keep walking
even while carrying what remains.

Light filters gently through the trees,
as if quietly accepting that choice.

Where the path leads doesn’t matter.

As long as he keeps moving,
something, somewhere, will begin to change.

And that piece of cloth—

whether he’ll let it go one day,
or carry it with him a little longer—

no one knows.
