To answer all the questions i’ve been seeing:
Yes $11k is expensive and I tipped additional on top of that (15-20%). It took over a year to save up for this tattoo. The three sessions were between 5-7 hours including multiple breaks in between. The average cost per hour is pretty normal for an artist as popular as him in los Angeles. I know the price may look inflated to those unfamiliar with LA but there are many artists here (and even in NYC) who charge the same. Say that I got scammed all you want but im just happy i got tatted by one of my favorite artists and i think thats priceless :) His tattoos heal nicely even if its fine line work so no worries about bleeding!
My camera lens are not dirty!! Its a diffusion filter on the lens I was trying out for the first time but decided after filming the shots looked too washed out!

$11,000 over 21 hours (7 hours a day, 3 days.) is $524 an hour... MY man is balling out.

I got tattooed by oozy 8 years ago! His work is so amazing but DAMN I'm so glad I got him before he was charging crazy amounts 🤯😂

11k is an insane price for a back piece like that but i'm glad you're happy with it.

For 11k I was expecting something amazing but the design look so normal. At the end she is happy and is her money.

You deserved this tattoo, respect sitting for 21 hours within 3 days, you basically did 3 working days sitting in pain and it looks amazing!

Let me just say this, I don't think you were "scammed" cause I mean obviously you looked up to this artist and wanted a piece from them... But boy yall are really buying what this guy's selling. You arent paying this large amount of money for the art, I've seen their other work and oozy is insaney talented and I would never knock that. But c'mon look at the reference you sent vs what he put together. My man didnt draw that he just took your reference into procreate and used a tool to re-outline it... So it's not like you were getting his artist vision anywhere in this. Ya'll paying this insane price and overhead so that the studio can look the way that it does.. Again not trying to talk shit but specifically with this design I mean you coulda found 100's of tattooers who couldve given you the exact same product at the same level if not better, for straight up a fraction of the price... Everyone is different I suppose but it's like buying a bag at neiman marcus for $400 when you could get literally the exact same bag at an outlet mall for $40 but you'd rather get it at Neiman marcus cause it's got the "fancy" name behind it.  This is literally consumerism in the tatty world at it's finest :face-fuchsia-tongue-out:

For 11k I better get a mf body suit 🤓

Way too expensive for such a simple design.... also, couldn't ask questions because he was listening to a podcast? wtf? that's no way of treating a client... for that money you could have taken a plane to medellin or buenos aires where you have amazing tattoo artists, get a nicer piece, or even two, and a much better experience overall.

Y’all are so weird hating this hard bc a person happily spent their money to get a meaningful tat by an artist they greatly admire. Hope y’all find joy in ur lives someday and that you won’t have to deal with ppl like yourselves when ya find something u like!
