Hey friends, welcome to RegenerationNationTV!
We’re Mike & Jess, and we love diving into music, TV, and culture from all over the world. This is a space where we explore new experiences, share laughs, and connect with amazing people like YOU!

Karl hilariously wonders if the world really needs so many species, or even modern inventions like vacuum cleaners and toasters. Another classic conversation where Karl’s logic had us laughing nonstop!

10:07 Nylon was patinated by two separate people at exactly the same time and the name Nylon is a combination of both their suggested brand names in order to reach a compromise. Also Dennis the Menace is a comic book character that was published by Britain and America on exactly the same day. That's why in Britain the character is called "Dennis the Menace" in the Beno comic book whilst we call the American version just "Dennis". The more you know, the less you give a toss.

Ok, so I learned his name is Mike. Can we have a comedian and a producer begin interviewing him like Karl. This is fascinating.

7:11 I remember the AIDS crisis. From people rapidly sickening and dropping dead to there being a viable treatment was a decade or more. Besides the gay community, heroin users were heavily affected, particularly in the UK. Haemophiliacs were also affected through regular transfusions of Factor 8. The movie Dallas Buyers Club captures the atmosphere of dread quite well.

I've got a 80's Sanfrancisco 49ers video on vhs and the opening tune of the Ricky Gervais show reminds me of that.

When you paused at the old lady sitting in her front room, the address is 22 Acacia Avenue. That is a song by Iron Maiden. If you look up the lyrics, you will see why the animators (probably) used that address.
