Great video! I love your style of art. To change things up, I've been experimenting with white ink lately (Rotring ink) using a .10 rotring isograph technical pen on black paper. (Mostly stippling. ) White ink clogs up easily in fineliner pens, so you have to really shake the ink well before filling your pens and use smoother paper to avoid paper clogging your pens too... (a lot less clogging when stippling.) Have you tried your technique with white ink on black paper? I imagine it would be more like working with negative spaces, but change is good sometimes.

For me, as an artist, I find that it's always good to switch things up once you find you've become too comfortable with a favorite technique. (I love to keep my brain on edge all the time, I guess!) Lol

After watching your video, I'm thinking I should try fountain pens next! Thanks again!

I finally got around to trying the 4/10 type sketch ink diluted & i am very pleased with the result.
You are in inspiration Martin, thanks for sharing!

Values. Thank you. Dilted ink for gray has been my focus for the last ten days. Your setup is also helpful.

very very inspiring idea,
thank you

i may also try with tones of waterproof green to make a verdaccio underdrawing

lovely idea
i just love your channel and artwork

That's a nice bunch of useful information. I always like the grays you put on as shadows.

Great idea for varying ink colours to draw. Thanks lots 👍🏼

Thank you!

Hope you are enjoying your holiday break Martin and thank you for interrupting it to bring us  another excellent video. Keep 'em coming!!

very useful knowledge, getting my inks in order now thank you Martin.

amazing, thank you for sharing. love to watch your thought process.

i'm watching actualy

Very cool, nice piece of art. Thank You.

lovely

Amazing understanding of values❤ also, may you please provide a list of your favourite fountain pens other than your hongdian and watercolors? Thank you

Loved this one… is that an A5 drawingboard?

Nice tutorial. A silly question: how do you cut paper into smaller ones?

Very interesting technique.
However, in addition to the autofocus problem, the audio isn't very good because you can hear too much traffic.  If someone could tell you how to adjust the microphone, that would be great.
Thank you very much for your very inspiring videos

Hello Martin.  Very interesting video with the diluted ink.  I know you have talked about your small clipboard on an earlier video but I was wondering what size it is and if it is available on Amazon?  I appreciate your videos and your time and effort that you put into them.  See you next time!🖋️🎨🖌️
