The Shadows were the most beautiful years of my youth. Greetings from Poland👍🇵🇱

The Shadows have snd always will be the top instrumentalist group. That distinctively deep rich sound of Hanks guitar is just so wonderful to listen to. Their later slight vhange took a little bit from that distinctive sound. Like Vliff Richards it was only his earlier music that was tops. Hank lived in Western Australia Perth I believr. Thanks fellows gor the unalloyed pleasure your music has given. An aussie.

Had the good fortune to meet and chat with Hank when they played in St.Kilda, Melbourne.
What an approachable and diplomatic gentleman who has no airs about him.
God bless Hank and the Shads

We all liked to look like Hank with heavy rimmed glasses, navy blue Italian cut suit and play those tunes. I still love my guitars and music is my psychiatrist. Bravo Shadows.

My first memories of the Shadows, 'Back Home' then 'Apache'. They must be in their mid 80s now. ( 2026 ) It was Cliff Richard and The Shadows as a group. Cliff is 86, born in 1940. They must be around the same age.
Where have the years gone?!

Hank Marvin was my favorite guitarist with the Shadows.I love hearing him play the instrumental music that really captured my imagination during my teenage years

Thank you Captain. That made my evening go so nicely. Just me and the cat. Just gone midnight, now i'm ready for some sleep. It's good for my tinnitus too.

I go for the original members of The Great Shadows. Hank, Bruce, Jet, Tony, they were then not rich yet, they played with their spirits & souls👍🙏.
