After completing the Ellora and Ghrishneshwar Jyotirlinga tour, I reached Nashik Road Railway Station from Sambhaji Nagar Railway Station i.e. Old Aurangabad.

When you come out of platform number one of Nashik Road Railway Station, you can freshen up at a waiting lounge called Godavari. There is also a railway retiring room here.

After coming out of platform number one of the railway station, you can easily reach trimbakeswar by taking an auto, a four-wheeler, or a government bus.

Since I reached there around noon, I visited Tapavan Panchavati in Nashik and Ramghat on the Godavari River, where the Kumbh Mela is held every 12 years. After visiting the place, I reached trimbakeswar in the afternoon and evening.

After having lunch at a restaurant opposite the Nashik Road Railway Station, I took a share auto and reached Dwarka Circle.
And after reaching this Dwarka circle, I reserved an auto there and I made an agreement with that auto rickshaw driver, he will show me around Tapovan Panchavati and all the places of interest in these places and he will drop me at the Godavari river ghat i.e. the area opposite Ram Ghat.

In about four hours, Tapovan Panchavati area and Ram Ghat area can be visited.

In 2027, i.e. next year, Kumbh Mela will be held on the banks of the Godavari river i.e. in Nashik city, for this, various activities are going on in the area around the river, i.e. modernization work is going on, the work of renovation of the ghat is going on.

27th JUNE By the afternoon, my Tapavan Panchavati and Godavari Ghat tour was completed, then I took an auto from Ramghat area to the bus stand, after reaching that bus stand I reached Trimbakeshwar for just 58 taka.

Where to stay in Trimbakeshwar??

If you go on Saturday, Sunday, Monday i.e. on a weekend or on Mahadev's day i.e. on Monday, you must book a hotel in advance, otherwise you may face problems.

I was a solo traveler, when I bargained in many hotels in the area besides the temple, each hotel was asking for 1200 to 1500 taka, 1800 taka more, which was not budget permitting for me.

I had to walk a long way, I found an ashram there and when I requested them to spend the night there, they helped me a lot and they also made me eat at night. I paid them a donation.

28th June The next day, wake up early in the morning and take a bath in the Kuthavartak Kund, which is considered the source of the Godavali River.
Then you have to go to the temple located just 200 meters away from there for darshan.

You can have an early darshan with a ticket of Rs 200, although if you go at 7:00 or 8:00, you may have to stand in a queue for three to four hours.
Therefore, my advice is to take a bath in the Kuthavartak Kund or at your hotel in the morning and reach the temple directly in the morning, then you can complete the darshan in less time.
