A portrait of some men and women adrift, living in the corridors of the Paris metro. Some have been there for months, others for years: they take refuge in alcohol, tranquilizers, or drugs. A glimmer of hope for these marginalized individuals is the "Coup de Pouce" (Helping Hand) association, which helps them get back on their feet thanks to its outreach workers based in the metro.

On s'en sort jamais vraiment, vous savez. C'est jamais facile. On apprend à vivre seul et ça devient difficile de vivre avec les autres. On perd de son humanité. On pense qu'à survivre.
M'en suis sorti (plutôt super bien, même). Mais j'ai pas oublié. Et le specte de ces années est là à jamais. Avec la peur de la rechute, même trente ans après.
